hey there!
My name is Melanie Atwater and I’m an artist living in Los Angeles! I grew up in New Jersey and moved to California to pursue a BFA in Character Animation at CalArts, where I graduated in 2014.
Currently, I’m working as a prop designer on Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur at Disney TV Animation, where I’ve also done some freelance character designs and development work. Other clients include Netflix Animation, Cartoon Network, and WB Animation.
In my free time, I also cosplay, dance, and like to go on hikes with my dog, Toasty!
